Job summary

Oxford Global Resources seeks an experienced Industrial Engineer in Ireland (Cork) to drive lean manufacturing initiatives and reduce lead times across the production process. You will promote robust industrialisation practices from concept to production and collaborate with DFAM, Additive manufacturing, CNC, finishing, and packaging teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or equivalent.
• 6+ years of engineering and lean manufacturing experience.
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt).
• Proven experience with Value Stream Mapping, time and motion studies, work content graphs, line balancing, simulation modelling, and work measurement techniques.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Minitab, Power BI, and AutoCAD.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and/or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• As a technical leader within the Industrialization team, promote lean engineering practices from concept through full production.
• Collaborate with manufacturing process owners across DFAM, Additive manufacturing, CNC, finishing, inspection, packaging, and sterilization to deliver innovative solutions.
• Lead takt time and capacity analyses to define resource requirements.
• Create and maintain current and future state value stream maps to identify bottlenecks and waste.
• Monitor lean metrics (lead time, changeover time, inventory) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train and mentor teams on Lean concepts and support the business.
