Responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly management accounts and reporting packs to tight deadlines.
• Produce regular value-adding management reports and disclosure packs for group reporting.
• Take ownership of all balance sheet accounts and reconciliations.
• Analyse, explain, and challenge variances to budget and forecast.
• Drive process improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Prepare statutory financial statements with Group Finance.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Oversee and guide the finance team, fostering development and performance.
• Implement costing systems and develop robust pricing models.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, external audits, and statutory regulations.

Your New Job:

As Senior Management Accountant, you’ll report directly to the Financial Director and play a key part in the finance team. You’ll lead the finance department, take charge of financial reporting, budgets, forecasts, and provide insightful analysis to drive profitable decisions.
