Job summary

SimoTech is seeking a Managed Services Manager to join our HQ in Cork. This senior leadership role will oversee high-impact engineering services and projects across client sites, reporting to the Director of Managed Services.

The successful candidate will bring 10+ years in Life Sciences or similar, with automation/validation expertise, and demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years project experience in Life Sciences manufacturing.
Degree in Engineering or Science with automation/validation focus.
At least 3 years leading teams or suppliers in automation delivery.
Strong technical, project and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with limited supervision on multiple lifecycles.
Knowledge of GMP, GAMP, Safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Oversee delivery of services and projects at client sites, contributing technically or as PM.
Manage scope, schedules, and budgets across projects.
Set standards to ensure high-quality output.
Act as project sponsor, support teams, and drive continuous improvement.
Manage stakeholder relationships with clients and internal teams.
Build relationships and develop innovative solutions for clients.
Evaluate performance of site-based resources and drive high performance.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Business Development to meet objectives.
Travel frequently to client sites for meetings.
