This role suits a qualified Fitter/Turner with strong industrial maintenance experience, offering the chance to join a growing maintenance team and work on large-scale processing machinery.

Qualifications

• Qualified Fitter/Turner or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with large-scale processing machinery.
• Welding and machining experience.
• Good understanding of electrical systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on large industrial machinery.
• Diagnose breakdowns and complete mechanical repairs efficiently to minimise downtime.
• Repair and replace bearings, sprockets, chains and drive components.
• Welding and fabrication using MIG, TIG and Stick.
• Use of lathe, milling machine and other workshop equipment.
• Complete machinery refurbishment and repairs during planned shutdowns.
• Inspect equipment and identify potential faults.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with permit-to-work procedures.
