Job summary

AECOM is seeking Civil Resident Engineers to support Uisce Éireann capital projects across Ireland. The role focuses on delivering water and wastewater infrastructure, ensuring safety, quality and compliance with contractual obligations.

You will work on projects such as water treatment plants, pumping stations and pipelines, and travel across counties in the Republic of Ireland as required. Hybrid-working options are available.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience supervising civil works on major infra projects.
• Experience with water and wastewater facilities.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and RAMS review.
• Familiar with construction contracts including FIDIC.
• Travel to site is required.
• Experience reviewing design submissions and participating in workshops.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of site-based infrastructure projects on behalf of Uisce Éireann.
• Review contractor documentation, RAMS, TMPs, CEMPs and quality plans.
• Conduct site inspections, safety reviews and quality audits.
• Supervise construction activities and coordinate commissioning.
• Administer contract commercial aspects incl. interim/final accounts and variations.
• Develop communication with Project Team, authorities, utilities and landowners.
