Job summary

A leading engineering contractor in Dublin, Ireland is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial functions across mechanical projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in mechanical quantity surveying, particularly in semiconductor or high-tech environments. This role involves contract compliance, cost control, and leading commercial teams. An effective communicator and proficient in cost management software, the successful candidate will also support project teams with financial reporting and risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience in mechanical quantity surveying and commercial management.
• Proven track record on semiconductor or high-tech industrial projects.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all commercial functions across mechanical projects.
• Prepare and negotiate variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Produce and update detailed cost forecasts and financial reports.
• Lead and mentor project QS and commercial team members.
