Job summary

King & Moffatt Building Services is seeking a Project Planner to establish and maintain scheduling controls across multiple M&E projects. The role focuses on baseline planning, progress reporting, and KPI dashboards to support design, procurement, installation and commissioning activities.

You will work with clients, design teams and trade contractors to ensure on-time delivery, accurate reporting, and sound change management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience as an M&E Planner on high-end residential or commercial projects.
• MS Project proficiency is essential.
• Experience in construction planning for Mechanical/Electrical Building Services contracting.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail; capable of reporting to clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to work to tight timelines and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Create a master baseline schedule in MS Project or Primavera P6 as per procedures.
• Develop schedules for design, procurement, installation and commissioning.
• Integrate trade contractor schedules into the company schedule hierarchy.
• Communicate scheduling and project controls to team members, clients and stakeholders.
• Manage progress reporting and integrate progress into company dashboards.
• Create and monitor KPIs and weekly/monthly dashboards and reports.
• Contribute to change management and time impact analyses.
• Develop commissioning programme and reporting regime.
• Mentor and train junior staff.
