Job summary

Search Talent is partnering with an established engineering and construction business to appoint an experienced M&E Project Manager for a major Cork project. This senior delivery role offers autonomy across programme, commercial management and client relationships.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams from mobilisation through handover on technically complex projects, with strong emphasis on safety, quality and value creation for long-term clients in Munster.

Qualifications

• Approximately 10+ years' relevant project experience.
• Mechanical or Electrical engineering background.
• Strong experience managing M&E projects in contracting.
• QA, commissioning and handover knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own M&E project delivery from mobilisation to handover.
• Manage programmes, milestones and delivery schedules.
• Lead project engineers, site teams and subcontractors.
• Maintain oversight of budgets, costs and variations.
• Coordinate procurement and specialist suppliers.
• Oversee QA, commissioning and handover.
• Ensure health & safety standards.
• Engage with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
• Chair progress and coordination meetings.
• Identify risks and implement solutions.
• Support tender reviews and business development.
• Build long-term client relationships.
• Handle multiple workstreams as needed.
