Job summary

Tandem Project Management Ltd. is seeking an experienced M&E Lead to manage on-site M&E activities for a major Cork city centre redevelopment project.

You will monitor mechanical, electrical and lift services, ensuring quality, safety and adherence to the programme. The role requires a Level 8 degree in building services engineering or related field, and at least 7 years in design/construction with hands-on supervision.

Qualifications

• Level 8 degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in design or construction of building and M&E projects, including at least 5 years' supervision on site.
• Strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, standards, codes of practice, health and safety legislation.
• Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate M&E with architectural, civil, structural and fire engineering disciplines.
• Review drawings, specifications, schedules, and technical documents.
• Monitor M&E and lift installations against programme and design intent.
• Carry out site inspections and maintain accurate records.
• Liaise daily with contractors, consultants and project team.
• Prepare weekly project reports covering progress, programme, inspections, and issues.
