Job summary

Pivotal Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join Cork-based construction teams on a full-time, permanent basis. You will lead the delivery of large-scale projects, manage site teams and subcontractors, and ensure safety, schedule, budget and quality targets are met from initiation through handover.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Project Manager or similar senior construction management position.
• Experience in construction or civil engineering industry.
• Strong leadership and people-management abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, costs and commercial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of construction projects from initiation to handover.
• Lead and manage project teams, providing leadership and technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate subcontractors, engineering teams and site staff on site.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, senior engineers and other stakeholders and provide regular progress updates.
• Plan and manage weekly work programmes to keep activities on schedule.
• Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with budget and commercial targets.
• Chair regular management and project meetings and drive safety culture on site.
