Job summary

Tier 1 Civil Engineering & Water Contractor is seeking an experienced M&E Estimator to support tenders for water and wastewater projects across Ireland. Based in Charleville, Co Cork, you will prepare detailed estimates, take-offs and tender submissions for MEICA packages, liaising with engineering, procurement and project teams.

You will review drawings and specifications, obtain supplier Quotations, and identify value engineering opportunities while maintaining accurate estimating records.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ MEICA estimating experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical packages.
• Experience taking-off quantities from drawings and specs.
• Experience dealing with suppliers and subcontractors

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed M&E estimates and tender submissions.
• Take-offs from drawings and specifications.
• Issue enquiries and assess quotations.
• Support procurement decisions and tender negotiations.
• Maintain tender documentation
