Job summary

Ward & Burke Construction Ltd, a leading engineering contractor delivering infrastructure across Ireland and the UK, is seeking an M&E Estimator to join our collaborative tender team and help secure high-profile projects.

You will prepare cost estimates and tender documentation for Mechanical and Electrical works, develop subcontractor enquiries, evaluate quotations, and work with design teams to deliver competitive tender solutions while supporting pre-construction activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in M&E Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Engineering or related discipline.
• 2+ years of estimating and cost planning experience for water/wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Solid knowledge of M&E equipment used in the water industry.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient with Excel, Word and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and tender documentation for Mechanical & Electrical works.
• Develop and issue enquiries to subcontractors and suppliers with contract documentation.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and assist with procurement of M&E packages.
• Collaborate with the design team to develop competitive tender solutions.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation; support post-tender negotiations.
