Tier 1 Civil Engineering & Water Contractor is seeking an experienced M&E Estimator to support tenders for water and wastewater projects across Ireland. Based in Charleville, Co Cork, you will prepare detailed estimates, take-offs and tender submissions for MEICA packages, liaising with engineering, procurement and project teams.
You will review drawings and specifications, obtain supplier Quotations, and identify value engineering opportunities while maintaining accurate estimating records.

This Tier 1 civil engineering contractor has a strong presence across Ireland’s water and wastewater sector, delivering treatment plants, pumping stations and major water infrastructure projects.
Based in Charleville, Co Cork, they are looking for an experienced M&E Estimator to strengthen their MEICA team and support tenders for water and wastewater projects across Ireland.
As M&E Estimator, you will prepare detailed estimates and tender submissions for mechanical and electrical packages across water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
You will work closely with engineering, procurement, commercial and project teams, reviewing drawings and specifications, completing take-offs and obtaining supplier and subcontractor quotations to build accurate and competitive tenders.
You will be an experienced M&E Estimator with strong commercial awareness and a practical understanding of mechanical and electrical packages.
The strongest fit will be someone from a water, wastewater or MEICA background who understands how to interrogate drawings and specifications, price equipment and subcontract packages, and work with suppliers to put together commercially competitive tenders.
Salary: Up to €85,000 DOE
This is a strong position for an experienced M&E Estimator who wants to specialise further within the Irish water and wastewater market.
You will be involved at the front end of major MEICA projects, working closely with engineering, procurement and commercial teams to develop tenders that ultimately move through into project delivery.
