Job summary

Steering Point, based in Dublin, seeks a senior M&A deal lead to drive end-to-end execution of transactions, originating mandates, and managing client relationships throughout lifecycles.Ideal candidate is ACA or CFA qualified with 6+ years post-qualification experience in Dublin and/or London in Big 4, investment banking, or boutique, with an established Irish network and the right visa to work in Ireland.

Qualifications

• ACA/CFA qualified with 6+ years post-qualification experience in Dublin and/or London M&A (Big 4, investment bank or boutique).
• Strong client relationship and deal origination skills.
• Established network within the Irish corporate, private equity, and professional services ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deal execution for M&A transactions.
• Originate and pitch for new mandates, leveraging personal and industry contacts.
• Manage client relationships, serving as the trusted lead advisor throughout transaction lifecycles.
• Mentor, manage and develop less experienced colleagues.
