QT Technologies Ireland Limited in Cork is seeking a Linux Platform & HLOS Stack Developer to design, implement and maintain a custom Linux-based software stack for next-generation SoCs and development platforms, focusing on kernel, boot, drivers, and system enablement.

You will collaborate with silicon, firmware, validation and software teams to ensure reliable platform operation, performance, and observability, and you will build telemetry and tooling to improve debugging and automation.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Linux internals and kernel features.
• Proficient in C, ARM Assembly, and Linux build systems.
• Experience with Linux kernel development, debugging, and customization.

Responsibilities

• Enable and maintain a custom Linux software stack for platform enablement and validation.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize kernel drivers and platform software.
• Debug hardware/firmware/bootloader/kernel/userspace issues across the stack.
• Develop Device Tree configurations and platform software components.
• Design telemetry, monitoring, and automation tools for observability and diagnostics.
• Build tooling to collect, analyze, and automate system data from hardware interfaces.
• Collaborate with silicon, firmware, performance, and validation teams to resolve issues.
• Develop tools and workflows to improve platform stability and productivity.
