Job summary

QT Technologies Ireland Limited is seeking software engineers to join the Cork team, contributing to firmware support for Cloud Edge Datacenter use cases on high-performance silicon. You will work across layers of the software stack, collaborating with senior engineers and hardware teams in Ireland and globally.

The role targets 2–7+ years in embedded software, with experience in BSP, device drivers, RTOS, secure boot, and PCIe data movement. Strong C/C++ and Embedded Linux skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of software engineering experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 1+ year of software engineering experience.
• PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain software for Qualcomm SOCs and Edge Devices.
• Design, develop and maintain device drivers and boot loaders for embedded systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and test embedded systems software.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues in embedded systems.
• Work with hardware engineers to ensure software and hardware compatibility.
• Embedded Linux software development, processes and documentation is a plus.
