Job summary

EY Ireland seeks a Senior Manager to drive Life Sciences strategy across R&D Medical, Commercial Strategy and Market Access. You will lead client engagements, shape proposals, and guide cross-functional teams across global projects within a growing Life Sciences practice.

The role blends strategy with execution, requiring strong leadership, client facilitation, and thought leadership to influence senior stakeholders and deliver innovative healthcare solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in management consulting and/or a Global Pharma/Biotech/Med Tech org.
• Experience leading innovative strategies in R&D, Medical, Commercial Strategy; Pricing, Reimbursement, Market Access.
• Strong client-facing experience: leading workshops and delivering strategic recommendations.
• Experience in global multidisciplinary teams across regions/countries.
• Proven thought leadership through writing (blogs, white papers) and/or speaking engagements.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and lead multiple clients and project teams to deliver high-quality insights.
• Supervise day-to-day work across teams with Life Sciences Practice Directors/Partners.
• Engage with clients on franchise/portfolio strategy, market access, pricing and launch excellence.
• Recommend technology platforms, digital/AI solutions, or business transformation to improve patient care.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify opportunities across projects.
• Lead new business proposals, scoping, and resource planning.
• Support Directors/Partners in recruitment and allocation of resources.
• Develop and deliver specialist training to embed EY methodologies.
• Contribute to thought leadership through writing and speaking engagements.
