Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Stanley Cowton International in Ireland is seeking a Vice President, Commercial & Business Development – Life Sciences to lead growth across Ireland and Northern Europe, preferably based in Cork or Dublin. This is a hands-on senior role, not a desk job.
You will travel to visit pharmaceutical and biotech clients, shape the regional commercial strategy, build a team, drive deals, and engage Nordic markets.
A major global engineering and construction business is looking for a senior commercial leader to drive the growth of its Life Sciences division across Ireland and Northern Europe.
This is a hands on, highly visible position with the autonomy to shape the regional commercial strategy, develop key pharmaceutical and biotech accounts and build a team around you as the business grows. You’ll also join a small global leadership group working together on major international pursuits.
This is not a desk based sales role. You’ll be expected to spend significant time in the market visiting clients across Ireland, travelling into the Nordics and wider Europe, attending conferences and industry events, and building relationships through dinners, golf days and other networking opportunities.
We’re looking for someone with a strong Irish Life Sciences network and a genuine understanding of how pharmaceutical facilities are designed and delivered. You could already be leading business development, or you may be a Project Director, Project Manager or Operations leader with strong commercial and client-development experience.
You’ll need to understand EPC/ EPCM delivery, be comfortable discussing pharma capital projects with senior decision makers and know when to bring technical experts into the conversation.
Personality is equally important: credible, personable, commercially driven and low ego.
