Qualifications

• Significant track record in Service Design in industry and/or Higher Education.
• Post-graduate degree in Service Design or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years industry/teaching experience focusing on human-centred design for services.
• Experience leading academic programmes and/or service design teams.
• Experience delivering high-quality teaching in a higher education environment.
• Commitment to research and international scholarship.
• Proficiency in Service Design methodologies and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the MA Service Design programme and designLab Civic Lead responsibilities.
• Act as Programme Leader for the MA Service Design, including course development, examinations, and quality assurance.
• Deliver teaching across the School of Design’s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
• Build industry and academic partnerships to enhance student opportunities and live projects.
• Oversee recruitment, student selection, and coordination with NCAD Registry.
