Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Principal/Associate Director Civil Engineer to lead delivery on water projects within the AMP8 programme. You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, ensure safety, quality and budget adherence, and build strong client relationships to achieve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Chartered status or significant progression towards ICE/CIWEM.
• Experience leading civil engineering design teams.
• Experience delivering projects to budget and schedule.
• Mentoring junior civil engineering staff to develop skills.
• Strong client-facing and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership for all aspects of project delivery including health & safety, technical, quality, schedule and budget.
• Manage multi-disciplinary teams.
• Shape delivery of services and identify opportunities to deliver additional services from the wider WSP business.
• Build relationships with clients to ensure service outcomes and satisfaction.
• Contribute to innovative approaches, new services and digital products.
• Lead bid preparation and resource/budget development.
