Job summary

Deciphex is hiring mission-driven backend engineers to contribute to AI-driven diagnostic software in a regulated environment. You will work with mature agile teams on a flagship product, developing on-premise components and cloud microservices, and using AI-assisted development tools.

Ideal candidates will have 6+ years in development, strong Java/Spring expertise, microservices, AWS, and experience in a regulated setting. Remote work is available for Ireland or Romania with no visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in a similar development role.
• Experience with Java ecosystem including Spring Boot/Spring Cloud.
• Strong experience with microservices, RESTful APIs and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Proficiency with AWS, MongoDB Atlas, Terraform and cloud-native tools.
• Experience using AI tools in SDLC and comfortable with AI in development.

Responsibilities

• Develop on-premise components and cloud microservices; integrate with cloud platforms.
• Build and test architecture changes and new features with a focus on quality and security.
• Use containers and cloud tech to deploy services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve products and tooling.
• Participate in peer reviews and promote secure development practices.
• Contribute to compliant, regulated software development in a fast-growth AI-driven environment.
