Job summary

PFH Technology Group in Cork, Ireland seeks an experienced IT/OT specialist to support and integrate IT/OT projects on site. The role requires deep networking knowledge, Windows deployment across domains, AD policy management, and Hyper-V expertise, with emphasis on IT/OT security practices.

Duties involve installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of servers, workstations, switches, wireless access points, NAS, and related hardware; plus overseeing network cabling (copper to fiber) and

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in an IT and/or OT projects C support environment
• A Primary degree in an IT and/or OT related discipline an advantage but not essential
• Significant nr of years’ experience in some/most/all the following IT/OT tech areas
• General Networking (Ethernet LAN C Wifi networks)
• Installation, configuration C troubleshooting of various hardware (Servers, Workstations, Ethernet Switches, Wireless APs, NAS’, Thin clients, Firewalls, Backup systems, etc..)
• Windows operating systems deployments, environments and domains (Win10/11, w2k8, w2k12, w2k16, w2k19, w2k22)
• Active directory domain C policy mgmt
• HyperV virtualization environments (building, deploying, managing, troubleshooting)
• Dell server and workstation hardware installations, support C troubleshooting
• IT and/or OT Cyber Security PaloAlto and/or Cisco firewalls
• Ethernet Network cabling infrastructure (copper C fibre)
