Job summary

Carne Group is expanding its Investment Manager Oversight team in Ireland, Dublin, and seeks an experienced professional to support the Designated Person for Investment Management and oversee delegated managers. You will monitor compliance, resolve complex governance issues, and contribute to ongoing process enhancements across the fund lifecycle.

The role requires 3–5 years in funds, UCITS/AIFM knowledge, and a preference for CFA/CAIA/FRM.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in the funds industry (Fund Admin/Depositary/AIFM/Man Co).
Excellent knowledge of UCITS, AIFM and relevant regulatory frameworks.
Professional qualification (CFA/CAIA/FRM) achieved or in progress is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and PowerBI.
Experience in people management, stakeholder engagement and project delivery.

Responsibilities

Oversee ongoing monitoring of delegated investment managers, ensuring regulatory and contractual obligations are met.
Resolve complex issues related to investment management, fund governance and oversight processes.
Contribute to the enhancement of oversight processes, technology and controls.
Maintain strong relationships with high-touch clients, acting as senior contact for oversight matters.
Present reports to senior management committees and governance bodies.
Lead and develop IM Oversight team members, including performance reviews and training.
