Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• At least three years of international logistics experience.
• Expert knowledge of customs procedures and cross-border compliance.
• Experience negotiating with carriers and managing vendor performance.
• Fluent English and Turkish (written and spoken).
• Ability to make independent decisions and manage risk.

Responsibilities

• Plans and designs end-to-end international freight solutions (air, ocean, and road) for complex customer supply chains, using independent professional judgment.
• Negotiates with carriers and suppliers and builds pricing strategies for customer quotes.
• Uses BarsIS to manage logistics operations and documentation.
• Advises customers and management on regulatory risk and how to manage it.
• Owns regulatory compliance for import/export operations and interprets new customs legislation.
• Leads negotiations with carriers and suppliers on freight rates and contract terms.
• Directs airline and ocean freight booking strategy to improve service quality, capacity use, and cost efficiency across accounts.
• Acts as a liaison with customs brokers, government authorities, overseas offices and international partners.
• Supervises, trains, and mentors junior operations staff.
• Monitors and analyzes performance data and drives continuous improvement.
