Job summary

Le Meas Executive Search are delighted to partner with a leading aircraft leasing firm on a new role within the internal audit and controls team. This role will have responsibility for internal controls, policy and managing SOx compliance for the group.

This role would suit a Senior Manager from Big 4 or a Qualified accountant with 3+ years PQE in a similar role in an aircraft leasing firm. You will lead controls design and monitoring, collaborate with senior executives, and promote governance

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with 3+ years PQE in controls, internal audit, compliance or risk management.
• Experience with SOx and risk management.
• Experience in aircraft leasing or financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal controls to design, implement and monitor the company’s internal controls framework.
• Analyse the effectiveness of financial, operational, and compliance controls.
• Support risk management initiatives and promote a strong governance culture.
• Lead a significant internal controls project in close partnership with the business as a subject matter expert.
• Collaborate with senior executives to identify gaps and recommend controls improvements.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and best practices.
