Le Meas Executive Search is seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Internal Controls to join an international aviation leasing group in Dublin. You will own and enhance the internal controls framework, oversee testing of financial, operational and compliance controls, and coordinate with auditors.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CPA/CISA/CIA or equivalent, 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and familiarity with ERP systems. Hybrid working is available.

An established international organisation operating within the aviation leasing sector is seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Internal Controls to join its team in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded controls professional to take ownership of a broad internal controls remit, helping to strengthen governance, improve business processes and ensure the ongoing effectiveness of the organisation's control environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation and ongoing enhancement of the organisation's internal controls framework.
• Oversee the assessment and testing of financial, operational and compliance controls to ensure they are operating effectively.
• Identify control deficiencies, evaluate associated risks and work with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement appropriate remedial actions.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, delegated authorities and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Review and document key business processes, ensuring appropriate controls are embedded throughout the organisation.
• Act as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors, coordinating information requests and control reviews.
• Provide guidance and training to colleagues on internal controls, risk management and compliance matters.
• Lead or contribute to wider business projects and process improvement initiatives as required.
• A relevant professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CISA, CIA or equivalent.
• At least 3-5 years' relevant experience in internal controls, internal audit, risk management, governance or a similar discipline.
• Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks, SOX requirements and risk management principles.
• Practical experience undertaking control testing, risk assessments and business process reviews.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify weaknesses and develop commercially practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities, with the confidence to engage at all levels of an organisation.
• Previous experience within financial services, aviation, asset finance, banking or another regulated industry.
• Involvement in business transformation, process improvement or control enhancement projects.
• Experience managing projects and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and data analytics tools.
