Le Meas Executive Search are delighted to partner with a leading Aircraft leasing firm on an interim Finance Director role in Dublin. This 6-month fixed term contract reports to the CFO and will lead the established local finance team.

Responsibilities include impairment reviews, consolidation, audits liaison, tax computations, budgeting, and cash flow management. The ideal candidate holds a professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 7+ years in aircraft leasing and aviation

Qualificações

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a minimum of 7+ years PQE in Aircraft Leasing.
• Aircraft Leasing / Aviation Finance experience is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a finance team of 5–10 staff.
• Aircraft impairment review & analysis.
• Preparation of annual consolidated group statutory financial statements.
• Management of outsourced production of annual statutory financial statements for all SPV’s.
• Liaising with external auditors as part of the annual audit process.
• Liaising with external tax advisers for corporate tax computations.
• Management of corporate compliance for the group.
• Review of all finance procedures to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Financial modelling, budget preparation and cash flow management.
• Oversee monthly management accounts for the group.
• Prepare various other finance reports for management.
• Respond to information requests from other departments.
• Contribute to robust compliance controls within the organisation.
• Ad-hoc projects.

Reporting to the CFO, this role will manage all accounting operations and manage an established local finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a lead a finance team of 5-10 staff members
• Aircraft impairment review & analysis
• Preparation of annual consolidated group statutory financial statements
• Management of the outsourced production of annual statutory financial statements for all SPV’s
• Liaising with external auditors as part of the annual audit process
• Liaising with external tax advisers in respect of the preparation of computations for corporate tax returns
• Management of corporate compliance for the group
• Review of all finance procedures to ensure all tasks are completed in an effective and efficient manner
• Financial modelling, budget preparation and cash flow management
• Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts for the group
• Preparation of various other finance reports required by the management team
• Dealing with queries and responding to information requests from other departments
• Contribute to robust and effective compliance controls within the organisation
• Ad-hoc projects
