Tirlán is seeking an Internal Audit Manager on a 12 month contract with hybrid working. The role will lead risk-based audits, assess internal controls, and provide assurance on compliance with policies, laws and regulations, reporting to Head of Internal Audit.

The successful candidate will have professional auditing qualifications (ACA/ACCA or equivalent), at least 5 years of audit experience, strong integrity, and excellent communication skills to engage with senior management across the group.

Formación

• Qualified in professional auditing and/or holding an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or other recognised qualification).
• Minimum 5 years proven experience in delivering operational and compliance audits.
• Strong integrity and transparency; able to build trust with leadership.
• Strong knowledge of the IIA standards.
• Excellent written and oral communication; able to present to senior management.
• Flexible on sector background; open to practice or industry.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, manage, and perform specialised investigative audits, including determining audit objectives and scope, identifying and assessing risks, developing time budgets and audit programs, and ensuring compliance with Internal Audit work paper standards for each audit
• Perform examinations to determine compliance with laws, regulations, policies, procedures, effectiveness in meeting operational requirements, efficiency, and sound accounting principles
• Assist with supervision of internal audit team members and colleagues, including training and evaluation
• Assist in development of the annual audit plan, execution, monitoring, and risk assessment
• Analyse and evaluate results of audits performed and develop recommendations to correct deficiencies
• Prepare audit reports including recommendations for improved practices with data and review findings with Head of Internal Audit
• Provide recommendations following completion of audits to substantiate and evaluate implementation of changes
