Job summary

Primark is seeking an Internal Auditor Senior Manager to drive a risk-based internal audit plan and oversee diverse audits across the organisation. You will partner with executive stakeholders and lead the Internal Audit team to deliver robust findings and practical remediation.

This role offers a strategic leadership opportunity within our Finance function, emphasizing governance, risk management, and assurance across the business landscape.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualification required.
• Experience in internal audit, assurance and/or risk management.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple audits and teams.
• Ability to influence at executive and board level.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Internal Audit in shaping and maintaining a risk-based Internal Audit plan aligned to business strategy and emerging risks.
• Own and oversee a diverse portfolio of audit activity across the organisation.
• Provide oversight and quality assurance throughout the audit lifecycle with evidence-based conclusions.
• Lead and contribute to complex, cross-functional, enterprise-wide audits.
• Build relationships with Executive and senior stakeholders and present audit outcomes clearly.
• Lead, develop and coach the Internal Audit team and ensure timely remediation of findings.
