Apollo Solutions on behalf of a client in the Consumer Goods sector is seeking an Internal Audit Senior Manager / Deputy Head of Internal Audit for a hybrid Dublin role. This leadership position offers the chance to shape an international internal audit function and risk management capabilities.

You will lead the risk-based audit plan, oversee cross-functional engagements, develop relationships with executive leadership, and mentor the IA team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in Internal Audit, Assurance, Risk Management, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing complex projects.
• Strong understanding of governance, risk, and internal control frameworks.
• Proven ability to manage sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and influencing skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and deliver the risk-based Internal Audit Plan aligned with business objectives and key risks.
• Own and oversee a portfolio of audit engagements across multiple functions and business areas.
• Identify emerging risks, control themes, and systemic issues; provide insights to senior stakeholders.
• Lead or oversee high-risk, cross-functional, and enterprise-wide audits.
• Develop relationships with executive leadership and key business partners.
• Support governance reporting, including updates for senior leadership and audit committees.
• Lead, coach, and develop members of the Internal Audit team.
• Foster collaboration, continuous learning, and professional excellence.
• Support talent development, succession planning, and capability building.
