Audit & Risk Recruitment is supporting a global FinTech in hiring an Internal Audit Manager in the Berlin or Dublin office. You will lead risk-based audits, provide regulatory assurance and strengthen internal controls across diverse business platforms.

The role requires strong stakeholder management and independence, with 3–4 days in the office and 20% travel. Based in Ireland or Germany, you will work on regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, DORA, and related standards, shaping the future

Formación

• 6–10 years of experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management or Internal Controls.
• Big 4 background is essential.
• Strong data analytics knowledge with PowerBI, Alteryx.
• Knowledge of SQL/Python is advantageous.
• Experience in regulated industries such as Financial Services, Payments, Fintech, Technology, Data.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with frameworks: COBIT, COSO, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NIST, ITIL, GDPR.
• Qualifications are preferred but not essential.

Responsabilidades

• Lead risk-based operational and financial audits across the whole Group.
• Provide assurance, compliance and strengthening of internal controls.
• Conduct end-to-end risk assessments and lead risk management processes.
• Audit payment systems and fintech products for security and compliance.
• Provide regulatory assurance to key stakeholders.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders and write audit reports.
• Report directly to the Head of Internal Audit.
