Job summary

Sant Nirankari Health City is seeking a Sr. Manager/Manager – Internal Audit (Finance & Accounts) to lead planning and execution of internal audits across finance functions, ensuring accuracy, governance, and compliance. This role supports process improvement and strengthens financial controls.

The ideal candidate is a Chartered Accountant with hospital sector experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to deliver insights and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant qualification is required.
• 8-10 years of experience in the hospital industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex data and identify risks.
• High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Solid knowledge of auditing standards, methodologies, and best practices.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting frameworks.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills for clear insights.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and audit tools/software.

Responsibilities

• Audit Planning & Execution: develop and execute audit plans based on risk assessments.
• Review SOPs and processes for accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct internal audits across departments to assess compliance.
• Perform audit fieldwork with testing, sampling, and data analysis.
• Risk Assessment & Control Evaluation: identify risk areas and weaknesses.
• Evaluate effectiveness of internal controls to mitigate risks.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare audit reports highlighting findings and actionable recommendations.
• Monitor and follow up on audit observations and corrective actions.
