Wintel Engineer 12-month Contract

Job summary

Vantage Resources is seeking an experienced Wintel Engineer to design, build and support Windows Server environments in Ireland. You will manage Active Directory, storage, backup, and virtualization using VMware and Hyper-V, ensuring performance, availability and security across mixed Windows and Linux systems.

Lead efforts in DR, monitoring and fault resolution while translating business needs into robust infrastructure designs.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ commercial experience as a Wintel Engineer or Administrator.
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization.
• Knowledge of storage, backup, monitoring and Disaster Recovery.
• Experience supporting Windows and Linux environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and problem-solving skills.
• Microsoft and/or VMware certification, or equivalent qualification.
