Job summary

ICT Services in Dublin is seeking an experienced infrastructure leader who can run complex projects end-to-end, manage major incidents with calm authority, and explain technical decisions clearly to a non-technical senior leadership team.

You’ll own the full CAB process, coordinate vendors, and produce clear post-change docs. You’ll lead incident response from detection to resolution, write root cause analyses, and take projects from design to go-live, owning the entire lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a corporate infrastructure environment with demonstrable project leadership.
• Hands-on VMware vSphere: real build and upgrade ownership.
• Veeam backup and DR: configured and managed independently.
• Strong Windows Server (2016-2022), Azure/M365, and firewall management experience.
• Compliance framework awareness: ISO 27001, SOX, NIST.
• ITIL-aligned thinking: change and incident management.

What you'll own

• Change management

Own the full CAB process. Coordinate vendors and stakeholders, present changes in plain English to a non-technical SMT, and produce clear post-change documentation every time.

Lead major incidents from detection to resolution. Chase vendors, keep leadership informed at every step, and write up root cause analysis reports to close out properly

Take projects from design to go-live. You won't be handed a single piece of someone else's plan - you'll own the whole thing and coordinate everyone around it

• Platform ownership

VMware vSphere (independent builds and upgrades), Veeam backup and DR, Windows Server 2016-2022, Azure / M365, and firewall management across the estate

What we're looking for
