Qualifications

• A relevant third-level qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline, OR an equivalent combination of recognised professional qualifications and relevant experience.
• Relevant industry qualifications in infrastructure, networking, cloud services, cybersecurity, architecture or IT service management would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the infrastructure function, including architect and admin teams.
• Own operational delivery and performance of core infrastructure services.
• Translate business priorities into technology roadmaps and delivery plans.
• Lead infrastructure programmes and projects with clear governance and budgets.
• Provide technical governance, security alignment and resilience.
• Maintain rigorous operational discipline: monitoring, patching, backups and change control.
• Lead major incident response and complex problem resolution.
• Oversee infrastructure change and service transition with proper testing and rollout.
• Strengthen disaster recovery and operational resilience; oversee exercises.
• Develop workforce capability and knowledge transfer; balance internal vs external resources.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security Operations to implement controls and standards.
• Manage budgets, suppliers, and contracts with evidence-based decisions.
