Job summary

TechHeads is seeking an experienced Senior ICT Cloud & Security Engineer for a 12-month contract in Dublin City Centre. The role is hybrid with 3 days onsite and 2 days working from home, focusing on Microsoft Azure security, identity and access management, and cyber security.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years ICT/engineering experience, strong Azure background, and proven L3 support ability. Certifications AZ-500 or SC-500 plus SC-200/SC-300/MD-102 are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 support and incident response for cloud and security.
• Contribute to security improvements, incident response and cloud/security projects.
• Work across Microsoft Entra ID/IAM, including CA and MFA; PIM & RBAC; security incidents; L3 support; ITIL processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs and runbooks.
• Support wider ICT teams and identify system improvements and best practices.

Location: Dublin City Centre, 3 days onsite / 2 days WFH

TechHeads is seeking an experienced Senior ICT Cloud & Security Engineer for an urgent 12-month contract with an established organisation in Dublin City Centre.

This is a senior, hands-on Level 3 Cloud & Security position requiring strong Microsoft Azure security, Identity & Access Management and cyber security experience. You will provide L3 support while also contributing to security improvements, incident response and cloud/security projects.

You will work across:

• Microsoft Entra ID / IAM, including Conditional Access and MFA
• PIM & RBAC
• Security incident investigation and response
• Level 3 support and troubleshooting
• ITIL-aligned Incident, Problem and Change Management
• Technical documentation, SOPs and runbooks

The role will also involve supporting wider ICT teams, identifying system improvements and contributing to security and technology best practices.

What We're Looking For

• Approximately 10+ years' relevant ICT/engineering experience
• Strong hands-on Microsoft Cloud & Security background
• Excellent troubleshooting and L3 support capability
• Strong cyber security knowledge
• Experience operating within an ITIL environment
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Certifications are essential.

• Candidates must hold AZ-500 (or SC-500) and at least one of SC-200, SC-300 or MD-102; multiple certifications are highly advantageous.
