Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a Senior Cloud & Security Engineer in Dublin, offering hybrid work with 3 days onsite under a daily rate contract. The role focuses on cloud security, identity management, endpoint security and operational cyber defence within a Microsoft tech environment.

The candidate will manage Microsoft cloud environments, support endpoint management, respond to incidents, and help implement Zero Trust alongside security best practices.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity and Microsoft technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Azure, identity management, endpoint management and security operations.
• Experience responding to security incidents and implementing security best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience working within structured IT service management environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and secure Microsoft cloud environments, including identity and access management.
• Support enterprise endpoint management and security platforms.
• Configure and maintain Microsoft security technologies across cloud and end-user environments.
• Monitor, investigate and respond to security incidents and alerts.
• Implement security controls and best practices across cloud infrastructure.
• Support Zero Trust and modern cybersecurity initiatives.
• Provide senior-level troubleshooting and technical support.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
