The position offers a hybrid working model, and candidates must have the right to work in Ireland.

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join a high-performing Technology & Digital Consulting team working at the forefront of cloud, data, and AI transformation.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys designing and delivering scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions and wants to work on large-scale transformation programmes across industries such as financial services, government, healthcare, technology, media, and telecoms.

About the Role

As an Azure Cloud Engineer at Manager level, you will design, implement, and manage cloud-native data and AI solutions on Microsoft Azure, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability across enterprise environments.

You will work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into innovative, production-ready cloud solutions that deliver real business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native data and AI solutions using Microsoft Azure services
• Migrate on-premise workloads to Azure, optimising for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency
• Build and maintain Azure landing zones aligned with Microsoft’s Well-Architected Framework
• Manage and enhance Azure environments with a focus on security, reliability, and operational excellence
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design robust and innovative cloud architectures
• Integrate AI and data solutions with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and third-party systems
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling using infrastructure-as-code and DevOps practices
• Champion best practices in security, compliance, and cloud governance
• Communicate effectively with technical teams, leadership, and business stakeholders
• Support continuous learning and contribute to the development of wider engineering capability

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect or Azure Data Engineer are a plus)
• 5+ years of experience designing and delivering cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure AI services, data platforms, and automation tools
• Proficiency in scripting/programming (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and operational best practices
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional delivery teams

The role is open to candidates based in Dublin with a hybrid onsite expectation.
