Qualifications

• Proficient in Java, Kotlin or another OO language with strong testing and quality practices.
• Deep understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and enterprise messaging.
• Experience with asynchronous messaging (Pulsar, JMS, Kafka).
• Proven track record delivering reliable production services.
• Excellent communication, able to simplify complex concepts for stakeholders.
• Passion for technology and continuous learning.
• Experience making impact on previous projects or teams.
• Ability to tackle complex and ambiguous problems and share knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a team designing, building, and maintaining high performance, scalable microservices and related web/mobile apps.
• Define best practices and help evolve our tech stack while delivering world-class applications.
• Champion quality through testing and code reviews; monitor feature rollouts for customer success.
• Design, build, deploy, and maintain resilient systems critical to customer success.
• Diagnose performance bottlenecks and optimize for better performance.
• Ensure work is delivered with quality and properly monitored in production.
• Mentor other team members.
