Job summary

Silent Aire is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design of AHU, CRAH, CDU and related HVAC solutions. You will translate customer requirements into practical, manufacturable products and act as the primary technical interface with clients throughout concept to production release.

You will mentor engineers, drive feasibility assessments, and collaborate with manufacturing, quality and sourcing to ensure successful project execution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years in HVAC mechanical design engineering.
• Extensive knowledge of AHU design and HVAC industry standards and codes is preferred.
• Proven track record of leading complex customer-driven engineering projects.
• Demonstrated experience acting as a technical consultant and trusted advisor to customers.
• Experience managing projects from concept through prototype validation and production handover.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for AHU, CRAH, CDU, and related HVAC projects.
• Interface with customers to define requirements and drive from concept to product release.
• Lead technical discussions, review designs, and mentor engineers.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, sourcing, controls, and project management teams.
• Perform coil and fan/pump selections using approved software and methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with standards and company design practices.
