Job summary

Navartis Ltd. seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer (HV) to lead high‑voltage engineering for a major Irish project, from feasibility through handover. The role spans substations, grid connections and power infrastructure, coordinating with multidisciplinary EPC teams.

The position requires 5+ years’ HV experience, a relevant Electrical Engineering degree and hands‑on design, testing, energisation and commissioning expertise. Dublin office with major site activity in County Kildare.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience delivering HV infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of HV substations, grid connections, switchgear, transformers, and protection systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead HV engineering activities across substations and transmission networks.
• Coordinate HV design with multidisciplinary EPC teams.
• Review designs for compliance with standards and project specs.
• Coordinate in‑house and external designers/vendors.
• Develop procurement specs and review vendor documentation.
• Support commissioning, energisation and handover.
• Drive continuous improvement of engineering policies and processes.
