Job summary

Stantec, operating across Ireland (Dublin, Cork, Limerick and other locations), seeks an HSSE professional to implement and continually improve health, safety and environmental systems. You’ll support risk controls, incident investigations and assurance activities across project and field environments.

The role requires seven years of HSSE experience, strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• You’ll have a degree or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Risk Management or related field.
• You’ll bring seven years’ HSSE experience or similar combined with education.
• Strong knowledge of HSSE legislation, risk management and incident processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and continual improvement of global, regional and business unit HSSE programmes.
• Apply HSSE systems, standards, procedures and processes consistently.
• Deliver HSSE communications, awareness initiatives and engagement activities.
• Maintain HSSE documentation, records and action-tracking systems.
• Assist with incident notification, investigations and lessons learned.
• Provide guidance to operational teams and build stakeholder relationships.
