Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced HSSE professional to support the implementation, application and continual improvement of HSSE programmes across diverse environments in Ireland. You will apply advanced practical HSSE knowledge to manage risk, incidents, and compliance in collaboration with various teams.

The role involves hands-on analysis, independent judgment, and engagement with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, audits, and effective HSSE practices throughout the business.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• Minimum seven years HSSE experience.
• Knowledge of HSSE legislation, risk management and incident management processes.
• Experience leading audits, inspections, investigations and assurance activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support risk management across projects and operations.
• Lead or participate in inspections, audits and assurance activities.
• Support incident notification, investigation and lessons learned.
• Provide HSSE guidance to teams and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain HSSE documentation and reporting.
