Job summary

Apex Group is seeking an Accounting Manager for Hedge Funds in Ireland. You will oversee the reconciliation and NAV calculations for multiple funds, coordinate with managers, auditors and custodians, and ensure timely reporting and compliance.

The role requires 3+ years of fund accounting experience, a relevant university degree, and strong Excel skills. Geneva experience would be advantageous and you will lead a small accounting team within a dynamic, globally connected firm.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of fund accounting experience
• Experience supervising accounting staff is a plus
• University degree in accounting, finance, business or economics preferred
• Geneva experience would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Review reconciliation and NAV calculations for daily/weekly/monthly periods
• Coordinate with investment managers, auditors, brokers, custodians and investors
• Maintain accounting and CRM systems and oversee financial statements preparation
• Oversee outsourced office relationships and ensure timely NAV calculations
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and fund specifications
• Supervise, train and recruit accounting staff and delegate work effectively
