SRG is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer in Dublin, Ireland to drive hands-on hardware development for next-generation implantable devices. The role focuses on building, testing and debugging hardware, with close collaboration with firmware and software teams to ensure robust product realization.

The position requires strong analogue and digital circuit design skills, 6+ years in hardware, and experience with EMI/EMC testing.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
  • 6+ years' experience in electronic hardware development.
  • Experience in medical device industry.
  • Hands-on soldering and PCB rework experience.
  • Strong analogue and digital circuit design skills.

Responsibilities

  • Build and test electronic hardware prototypes.
  • Board bring-up and support firmware integration.
  • Design and review schematics and PCB layouts.
  • Debug hardware using oscilloscopes, logic analysers and other test equipment.
  • Conduct failure analysis, validation testing and report generation.
  • Support system integration with firmware and software teams.
  • Maintain technical documentation and engineering records.
  • Execute and document hardware verification and test activities.
