Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree with relevant experience in embedded software development.
• Strong hands-on programming experience in embedded C and C++.
• Experience with microcontrollers in bare-metal and RTOS environments (STM32 and ThreadX or equivalent).
• Experience integrating hardware and developing drivers for UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, PWM, USB.
• Experience optimizing embedded software for performance, memory, reliability and real-time behaviour.
• Designing software for testability with unit testing and mocks; software integration testing.
• Experience with static analysis, code reviews, and secure coding practices.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows; familiarity with regulated development processes.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for medical products.
• Contribute to software architecture and modular design.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, systems, test, and quality teams across countries.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and technical design discussions.
• Investigate issues and implement solutions; maintain software requirements and traceability.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and contribute to risk analyses and documentation.
