Ocean Fitness Centre, Galway's premier leisure and gym facility, is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of the club. You will manage day-to-day reception tasks and support members with a warm, professional approach.

You will lead front-of-house operations, assist with memberships, bookings and payments, and help uphold our premium service standards. The role also includes coaching junior staff and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a senior receptionist/front desk/guest services role (hospitality, leisure or premium service background desirable).
• Excellent people skills and the ability to build strong member relationships.
• Strong administrative and organisational ability with attention to detail.
• Able to handle busy periods calmly and resolve issues efficiently.

Responsabilités

• Greet and assist members and guests with professionalism and warmth.
• Manage day-to-day reception operations, including scheduling, check-ins, bookings and payments.
• Act as the primary point of contact for member queries, resolving issues empathetically.
• Support the administrative organisation of memberships, records and internal processes.
• Collaborate with management and the wider team to maintain exceptional service standards.
• Train, guide and motivate junior reception staff to deliver consistent quality.
