Job summary

Barden | B Corp in Dublin is seeking a qualified Senior Group Accountant to join the group finance team on a permanent basis. This hands-on role supports consolidation, statutory reporting and multi-entity accounting within a growing international group.

You will lead month-end, prepare group reporting and financial statements, and contribute to process improvements as the integration evolves. ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 1+ PQE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 1 year+ PQE (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Consolidation or group audit experience a strong advantage.
• Strong technical knowledge and a genuine interest in technical accounting.
• A self-starter and a strong communicator.

Our client is a well-established, Dublin headquartered business that recently became part of a larger international group. They are looking for a qualified accountant to join their group finance team on a permanent basis as a Senior Group Accountant.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The group is building out its financial reporting team for the next phase of integration. This is a hands-on, technical role in a large multi-entity group, with significant project work to come.

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Preparing month-end and group reporting;
• Preparing statutory financial statements across a large number of entities;
• Supporting the group consolidation process;
• Researching and applying accounting standards as technical issues arise;
• Contributing to integration and process improvement projects.
