Job summary

Our client, a multinational organisation, is seeking a Group Accountant to join the growing finance team in South Dublin with hybrid working 3 days in office. This newly created role supports monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting and the consolidation process under the Head of Finance.

Ideal candidates are early-stage accountants with 0-2 years PQE, Big 4 or Top 10 training, strong Excel skills, and excellent stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 0-2 years PQE.
• Big 4 or Top 10 trained preferably.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual group financial reporting.
• Supporting the group consolidation process.
• Preparation of statutory financial statements and coordination of external audits.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assisting with the enhancement of financial controls, processes and reporting capabilities.
• Partnering with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight and analysis.
• Supporting strategic finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-stage ambitious accounting professional to take on a broad accounting role within a dynamic and growing organisation. The role reports directly into the Head of Finance.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Preparation of statutory financial statements and coordination of external audits
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Assisting with the enhancement of financial controls, processes and reporting capabilities

ABOUT THE PERSON:

• Qualified accountant with 0-2 years PQE

• Proactive, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities
• Advanced Excel skills and strong systems experience preferred

Based in South Dublin, hybrid working 3 days per week in office.
