Job summary

Barden | B Corp, a Dublin-based business recently integrated into an international group, is seeking a Senior Group Accountant to join its group finance team on a permanent basis.

The role is hands-on and technical, operating in a large multi-entity group with significant project work ahead as integration progresses.

You will lead month-end, oversee group reporting, statutory financial statements across many entities, assist consolidation and approach accounting standards with a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 1+ year PQE (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Consolidation or group audit experience a strong advantage.
• Strong technical knowledge and a genuine interest in technical accounting.
• A self-starter and a strong communicator.

Responsibilities

• Preparing month-end and group reporting.
• Preparing statutory financial statements across a large number of entities.
• Supporting the group consolidation process.
• Researching and applying accounting standards as technical issues arise.
• Contributing to integration and process improvement projects.

Education

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)

1+ year PQE

Consolidation or group audit experience advantageous

Our client is a well-established, Dublin headquartered business that recently became part of a larger international group. They are looking for a qualified accountant to join their group finance team on a permanent basis as Senior Group Accountant.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The group is building out its financial reporting team for the next phase of integration. This is a hands-on, technical role in a large multi-entity group, with significant project work to come.

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Preparing month-end and group reporting;
• Preparing statutory financial statements across a large number of entities;
• Supporting the group consolidation process;
• Researching and applying accounting standards as technical issues arise;
• Contributing to integration and process improvement projects.
